CARPATINA INTRODUCES FASHION DOLLS
New Doll Debut 2012-2013
Carpatina Dolls ushers in the fall of 2012 in style with Celtic beauty Rowena.
The previous dolls from the Carpatina Fantasy Adventures Collection are Zoe and Erin - fashion designers in the making withr contemporary fashions they create themselves at Carpatina School of Design.
The girls also offer patterns and video lessons on how to make a doll dress from their own collection label ZOEN.
Like other Carpatina creations, Erin and Zoe are slim-bodied 18" vinyl doll designed for collectors of all ages. And like the other dolls in the collection, the character sprang from designer and Carpatina founder Mihaela Hinkle's love of history and fashion. As Hinkle explained, "I like both my dolls and their clothing to tell a story that resonates with the magic of the past or present. That narrative makes the collection more than just merchandise, both for me and my customers. The new dolls give me the chance to offer ideas and instructions on fashion design and doll clothing construction in a fun way that I hope to captivate the Carpatina young collectors especially."
In addition, Carpatina releases period costumes doll patterns and doll scenes backdrops.
Carpatina also has more treasures in store for fans of the Girlfriends Collection. The line of clothing and accessories for 18" cloth-bodied dolls has proven just as popular as the Carpatina Collection. In fact, customer demand inspired us to offer some of the most exquisite outfits in both doll sizes.
Carpatina is dedicated to offering high-quality fashion and collectibles with a stylish, romantic flavor. Carpatina Dolls feature posable arms and leg, open-close eyes, and brushable hair. All dolls come with dress, shoes, and underwear. Additional outfits and accessories are sold separately. Clothing from the Girlfriends Collection fits 18" cloth-bodied dolls, such as American Girls®. Carpatina Dolls and the Girlfriends Collection are available at www.carpatina.com and at select specialty retailers nationwide.
All our dolls are free of phthalates and free of lead paints.
